I began my nursing career in 1994, as a United States Navy nurse.
During my nursing career, I’ve had the privilege of working with patients across the life span and have been particularly drawn to patients struggling with mental health. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Alabama, Birmingham with an MSN in Advanced Psychiatric Nursing.I have treated patients in the community mental health, primary care and private settings since 2014. I feel especially blessed to be able to come alongside my patients, hear their story, and join them in their journey towards healing.
I have a particular passion for and am drawn to patients that have endured traumatic experiences, as I have seen real healing occur with the right treatments and approaches.
