I graduated Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2009 with my Master’s in Nursing.
I have been a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2009, and have practiced in a few different settings. I originally started out in community mental health seeing a wide variety of patients. This is where so many new providers go “to cut their teeth”. It was an invaluable experience. I learned so much from my supervising psychiatrist and fellow psychiatric nurse practitioners that I worked alongside for so many years. In 2016, I moved into a primary care setting and I worked side by side with approximately 15 FNPs to achieve optimal outcomes for our shared patients.

I became the Director of Behavioral Health in 2018, while I continued to carry my own caseload. After over 10 years in a clinic setting, it was time for a move into a more individualized practice. My goal is to be able to see people in a holistic manner and help them achieve healing to live a more full, abundant life.
