I graduated Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2009 with my Master’s in Nursing.
I have been a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner for a little over 10 years and have practiced in a few different settings. I originally started out in community mental health seeing a wide variety of patients. This is where so many new providers go “to cut their teeth”. It was an invaluable experience.I learned so much from my supervising psychiatrist and fellow psychiatric nurse practitioners that I worked alongside for so many years. In 2016, I moved into a primary care setting and I worked side by side with approximately 15 FNPs to achieve optimal outcomes for our shared patients.
I became the Director of Behavioral Health in 2018, while I continued to carry my own caseload. After over 10 years in a clinic setting, it was time for a move into a more individualized practice. My goal is to be able to see people in a holistic manner and help them achieve healing to live a more full, abundant life.
